Hi everyone,
For the third year in a row we have some areas of fairways and tees of 419 bermudagrass infested with bermudagrass scale (odonapsis ruthae).
In the past we have controlled them spraying Mulligan Insecticide (piriproxifen) at different rates and mixed with parafine oil.
The treatment work better in early spring after a verticut, removing old grass leaves and improving the contact between insect and treatment.
In early fall, when we do not verticut and the grass does not grow much, the damage is bigger and it is more difficult to remove them.
Any better treatment or experiences?
Thanks a million from Spain!!
