I'm looking to change up my ball washer stands. I currently have the par-aide deluxe on the standard pipe stand. Looking for some ideas. Anybody use cedar 4x4's?

    Thanks

2" pvc. I had only seen it once, but it looked really nice. I am sure it is really cheap to do a course, but maintanance might be consuming. That and I am not sure how stable they would be since they are so light.

you could fill it with concrete to make it stronger.

2-3/8" steel pipe and 80lb Quikrete at lowes.

    Works like a charm.

I have installed many ballwashers on wooden posts from screens, signs, drinking fountains, etc. Just use a 2" galv. flange, short nipples and elbow. It looks good; why have extra pipes in the ground that are not necessary.

Vinyl Guard (any color) on pipe works well and easy to change yearly. We put sleeve in concrete and attach vinyl guard to pipe. It looks great and maintenance free.

Or do away with ballwashers...don't need 'em. Ever see anyone putt out with dirty ball? Why would you need to wash it on the next tee?

I took out all the ballwashers except for those on par 3 tees and the only person who noticed was one of my part-time employees. That's what the towel on your bag is for.

Has anyone made their own movable stands? We currently use galvanized pipe with concrete. The problem we have is that area around the washer gets worn down and gets to be a mud hole.

I have tried to get rid of some ball washers but unlike you Keith they noticed..
