Have any of you made your own to protect turf while digging? We've just used sheets of plywood in the past, but they don't last very long. I plan to build something better, and I'm looking for any info or pictures from others that may have already done this at their club. Maybe stacking some 3/4" sheets and attaching a rubber mat to the bottom? Any ideas appreciated...

Conveyor belt 4"-6" on end and in a frame attached to stabilizers as large as will clear every thing, Generally 12-16 inches. 1-1/8" plywood cut in two foot by two foot pieces under stabilizer.

Old driving range mats cut down to the size you like worked pretty well for us and it maybe something you have on hand.
