What is everyone using to make repairs in your 1" water hose? I have a few that need repaired before we can use them again.

We use these clamps. Won't cut your hand like a regular hose clamp and wont' come undone either.

I'm guessing on hoses one would use on greens a little caution has to be taken?

I haven't used those clamps before, but I would think that maybe some tape or even a piece of vinylguard over the clamp could go a long way to protect the Greens after a repair?

I wouldn't go dragging them across a green without taping up the repair someway...as Matt mentioned, I've used tape in the past and would assume a piece of VinylGuard would work as well.

Have used the clamps above, they work well. Once a hose has been repaired it is used for everything BUT greens. New solid length hoses that won't scuff for greens. Even if you tape the clamps there is still a ridge/edge that will scuff the turf.
