#1 LSU vs Auburn.....+22.5.......even minus the latest in player suspensions the Bayou Tigers should prevail over the Tigers from the Plains........it's unfortunate with a team sitting at number 1 and the possiblity of a national title and undefeated season, 3 selfish players decide to smoke some dope.........drug test? what drug test coach?pee in the bottle..............now? This game is always close and do not understand the spread and see no reason it will be easier with two starters gone ....take the points

#2 Alabama vs Tenn.......+28.5.........another rout before the bye week and the showdown in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 5...........this should be a stroll on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Dixie

#3 Oklahoma vs Texas Tech +28.......Tracys team couldn;t handle the Aggies let alone the Sooners.... a lot of points but again should cover

#4 Wisconsin vs Michigan State....+7.5.....will find out how good both of these teams are.......first road test for the Badgers and the Spartans gave them their last regular season loss........but I like the team in red

#5 Bosie State vs Air Force...+31........the Broncos will pile up style points whether they count or not.... is this the Mountain West or future Big East?.........blue turf rules

#6 Okie State vs Missouri...+7........could be the last match up of conference rivals....Cowboys defense sucks but can usually out score the opposition.......this could be a toughie but the"boys" will prevail

#7 Stanford vs Washington...+20.......wow a lot of points to give a pretty good team but they do have the Huskies at home at least........Luck vs Price is the matchup of two good QB's......think the dawgs can cover

    # 8 Clemson vs NC....+10.5.......Tigers get back on trach after last weeks scare.......give the points

#9 Oregon vs Colorado....+32.5...........Ducks are losing players as fast as LSU just for different reasons.......the Buffs are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad............Ducks will wiin going away

#10 Arkansas vs Ole Miss...+ 17............the Rebels or Black Bears or whatever in the hell they are now we do know they are really really really bad.........Hawgs rule

#12 K State vs Kansas....+ 12.........dumb line.........12 is not close to covering in this game........cross state rivals and the Wildcats will win Lawrence.........rock, chalk, wildcats

#12 Nebraska vs Minnehaha...+24.5.........a season that started great for the Huskers had kind of gone into neutral.......Crick lost for the season on defense.........Huskers on a hunch to cover

How long before Nebraska wins the Big 10...11...12? When Penn State joined everyone thought they would dominate the confrence. How many times have they won it? I was looking at Wisconsin's schedule this morning, they could easily win out, if they win on the road this week. It also depends which Illinois team shows up when the Badgers play there on Nov 19. They could go undefeated but with LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma ahead of them they don't have a shot at playing for a national championship.

Another week, another loss. When do we get to play Kentucky again? I think UT has won something like 25 in a row against them.

Kerry, Nebraska isn't going to win anything until they figure out how to play offense. The Penn State analogy is perfect.

At least the game last night had a fake ref that turned out to be a streaker, followed immediately by a bench clearing fight. That made it more interesting than any world series game despite the fact that it was between two lousy teams and it was a blowout.

One final prediction, in the Rugby world cup final (Sunday on NBC) I think the New Zealand all blacks will get the monkey off their back and beat France for the world cup title. I think it will be close though, as Le Bleu has played horribly but yet has managed to reach the final. Their best game has yet to happen and as NZ fans well know, nobody rises to the occasion like the French. Check it out, it's going to be good.

Not a particularly good week in wagering.......7-5 against the spread on here.......a tad better in my personal wagering but not much. Some more unbeaten's went down.........Wisconsin which I warned on Thursday could be a trap game being their real first test on the road........Camp Randall Stadium a bit more friendly to the Badgers. The great teams win on the road as well...........on the other hand ths Sooners went down at home to a good but not great Texas Tech team........geaux Tracy. Sets up the game of the decade on November 5th. The battle of the unpredictable (Les Miles) vs the irritable (Nick Saban).........but plenty of time to hash that game out.

Gus have two buddies both of which are "limey's" have been in New Zealand for 27 days of Rugby....will be gone 31 days in total.............lots of beer drinking stories I am sure when they return shortly.

How the heck does somebody get a month off in this day and age? I'm green from head to toe with envy. It did turn out to be a great game, Le Bleu did rise to the occasion and almost snuck out of there with the trophy. Low scoring but lots of big hits to make it entertaining.

Congrats to all MSU alum on the board. Sparty got it done and what an exciting game to watch. Ditto Texas Tech. These kind of games are what make college football the greatest spectacle on earth.

Dave, you're right November 5 is going to be a clash of the titans. Hopefully the game lives up to expectations.

My Vols got pounded again but at least the Temecula Jr. Pee Wee Fighting Kodiaks took down the Oceanside Pirates in the first round of the playoffs.

Gus, From what I saw just by looking at scores Tenn hung in there for a half.

I thought OU wasn't that good when Florida State competed with them even after losing EJ. There was talk during the Maryland game "The what-ifs" if Florida State had EJ for the Clemson and maybe started the Wake Forest game, but defense did them in those two days in my opinion.

Was with some K-Staters this week, they are starting to get giddy, remember of those days back-when they were so close.

Mel as long as they are giddy......that's cool.........jsut don't let them get stupid thinking crystal footballs and the like.........it ain't happening

The Wildcats still have four pretty tough games left.......two on the road .......but they can certainly be in the hunt to determine who does win the Big 12
