I can not believe that the Chargers would try to cheat and they even lost the game. Wonder what penalties the NFL will give the Chargers. Hopefully not to severe. Maybe they should suspend Norv Turner for the rest of the year. San Diego fans would love that.

I say they don't allow the Chargers to fire Norv, he must remain coaching there until Rivers retires. Although how he has lasted this long there is a mystery to me.

Norv must go. SD would have a better chance without him. It will be interesting to see what the NFL does to the Bolts. Best case scenario is suspend Norv a few games. But they are considering Suspensions, fines and even loss of draft picks.

That's all part of the pre move the team plan. Item 1) Fire a great coach after a 14-2 season. Check 2) Allow future hall of famers to end careers elsewhere. Check 3) Replace coach and great players with sub par replacements. Check 4) Keep demanding taxpayers build you a stadium while diminishing the product. Check 5) Blame poor attendance and revenue numbers on fickle fans and politicians. Check 6) When fans keep coming anyway, do something crazy like cheat and get caught to accelerate process. Check

    Next stop- LA CHARGERS

I hope not Gus. I much prefer football in San Diego to football in LA

Even if they moved to LA, it would be a short lived stay. Look at the Raiders. LA is a bunch of Raider fanatics and the team could not sellout in LA. They went back to Oakland and sellout every game no matter how $hitty they are. What I last read about the cheating involves a golf towels that all teams use to dry the balls and players hands, arms and face. Looks like they may be no fines or penalties against the Chargers. No Football in San Diego would suck for the NFL.

After yesterday, I would hope they become the Fargo North Dakota Chargers! We are getting what we deserve for keeping Turner and Smith. We have a poor offensive line, weak corners and we don't have a tough mentality. Rivers has gone from bad to worse and nothing will improve. Write off 2012 just as we had to do for the past two years.

OK, let me add to my list: 7) Lose to the worst team in football and look really bad doing it.... Check

Alberto you're right it would make more sense financially to put the Raiders back in LA. Ready made fan base etc. But teams from San Diego do stupid things. The Clippers have been co-existing in LA for some time now, apparently unfazed by the fact that it is Lakers territory and they will always be a distant 2nd fiddle. Lakers cast a giant shadow and so would the Raiders on any team moving to LA (with the possible exception of a Ram coming home party).

Sandy, I would like to banish Smith to Fargo, or perhaps the Antarctic research station.

I love how "shitty" flies by the forum police but "mellon" does not.
