I don't think Yost knows how to manage a proper game, he is fine in spring training when everyone knows they get x number of pitches or innings or so many at bats.

Don't look now Mel but your boys got a half game lead in the Central. One thing is for sure - that division, aside from the Tigers, is less than impressive. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see them do pretty well this year especially in that division. They got a ton of young talent. So far Santana has been dealing and if he can find his form from a few years ago they could be really tough - that would be a pretty solid top 3. You can bet that they - and everyone else for that matter - will do pretty well against my Tribe and their, at best, questionable rotation.
Matt, the only way to beat the tribe is make them keep the ball in the yard. Had the split earlier this week. Shields is pitching good, so I guess the Myers trade is working, and Santana is pitching great, Guthrie is doing well too. Davis started of good but has faltered and Mendoza in the 5th spot hasn't performed well either, but his starts haven't been consistent with the weather. Hoch and Chen have been pretty impressive in the pen, maybe they could be put into the starting rotation again if Davis and Mendoza don't step it up. Crow had been great, Holland scares me as the closer, I wonder if we don't see Crow in that role before the season is done. At least Moose and Hosimer are starting to hit.
