Congratulations to the two final American teams for representing themselves and baseball in such a positive manner. With everything bad we hear about sports, this is very refreshing to see. Locally, we were hoping for our team to play Tijuana in the final game but Japan had something to say about that. Our team played great for a solid month but just got beat by a very fundamentally sound Japanese team. I hate to see the tears from those young kids but when it is all said and done, they will remember the experience the rest of their lives. Being the 2nd best in the world and the best in the U.S. is a pretty impressive accomplishment. Very few ever reach the LL World Series. It was a true lifetime lesson for every player that reached Williamsport.

I really enjoyed watching these games also. I have a soon to be 10 yr old that is all about baseball and we spent many nights watching the boys play hard. I also really like how big of a deal TV has made it. The fields were in great shape and the stadium atmosphere has to be a thrill of a lifetime for 12-13 year olds.
