All I can say is ...WOW! What a bunch of great games. And to watch the hometown Rays pull it off and the Red Sox collapse was priceless.

There's baseball going on? I thought that season ended on the first day of football.

The Rays overcame a 9 game deficit the month of September and the Cards trailed the Braves by 10 1/2 on August 25th...........two el foldo's for the ages.

My Bravos choked, like normal. At the beginning of September I predicted they would go 23-4 for the remainder of the season since this was their easiest part of the schedule to date. The ended up winning something like 8 games. Derek Lowe should be hung out to dry on some farm team for the remainder of his contract. He sucks.

Hey Sean, aren't you a White Sox's fan? Happy with Ozzie leaving town?

I WAS a Red Sox fan, my daughter's boyfriend is TJ Bogar, son of Boston's third base coach Tim Bogar. She went to a party this summer at Big Papi's house. Sounds like he is going to be out of a job. Rumor was Francona was going whether they made the playoffs or not.

Ozzie opened the door for Francona to come to Chicago..

I doubt that Francona is going to the White Sox, I would put my money on Sandy Alomar, if the Sox go for a big name the Rumor is it will be La Rusa. Im glad for Ozzie and the White Sox. Ozzie will be good for baseball in South Florida, but he had worn me out with his failure to play the kids earlier when Dunn and Rios were stinking it up. The last couple of seasons they had a bad start then came back only to have no gas at the end. At the end of this season Ozzie seemed more worried about Ozzie than the White Sox and the way it finished says a lot about his wearing Jerry Riensdorf out too.

You got to love the Rays playing a rook in the opening game and shutting down the Rangers. It should be a good post season.

And the sox are back to the pre 2004, post all-star break collapse routine. Besides game four of the 04 world series, that had to be the most exciting night of baseball I've seen.

Wherever he goes, Tito Francona will be good. Hes a good manager. I heard this week that theres a possibility he could be in Chicago but on the North side. New GM for the Cubs means Quade could be out... Id love to see Francona coach the cubbies.
