   I really feel sorry for the Royals fans. They were just swept by my lowly Padres! The best news of all is the royals helped us get out of last place and pass the under-achieving Dodgers for the moment. Break up the Padres before they become unstoppable!

   All I can say is thank goodness the first two games started at 9 our time, I was dozing by the second inning, only waking up to hear someone striking out to end the game. And the day game they didn't even bother televising.

   I was a Royals fan quite awhile ago. I really wish we had a baseball team worth cheering for. At least the Chiefs are doing better.

   Pretty much counting on the Chargers doing well to help us forget our sorry Padre season. At least Adrian Gonzales has had the success I predicted when we traded him away! Go Adrian!
