I think all the way through the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight, the Final Four and especially last night, this was one of the most enjoyable basketball playoff seasons in many years. We only saw a couple of blowouts and nearly every other game could have gone either way. Congratulations to Pitino and the Cardinals for beating a solid and exciting Michigan team. Between three point shooting, slam dunks and some great defense, that was maybe the best college basketball game I have seen in years. Both teams had tremendous athletes and were well coached teams that were very unselfish. I think both teams will be contenders next year no matter how many they lose to the NBA. Both teams deserve a ton of credit.

I enjoyed the game as well, the Division II game on Sunday was great! (easy for me to say with hometown Drury winning, and Alex Hall a Kickapoo grad with the game winning buckets. It was a Kickapoo weekend with their winter percussion winning the local circuit championships and winter guard coming in second. It is now on to Dayton, everyone needs to fear the Poo!).

Only disappointment was "One Shining Moment" They seemed to have shortened it too much, should do the longer version and have more teams, fans, bands and cheerleaders. It's the only thing I have to look forward to on championship night since my team is sitting at home.

Hoping its a Louisville sweep tonight with the ladies, for some reason I can't stand UConn.

    Mel,

It's probably because of Geno. Have liked their team and players over the years (especially when they beat ND) but Geno always seems to be a bit harsh on his players. Still gets great players every year so maybe he's not as bad as he looks during the games? Not sure.

Gary, I would say that is why.
