Back to back to back for the SEC. And back to back for the Gamecocks........hard to do in any sport. The team that refused to lose........twice facing defeat with the bases loaded, no outs in the 9th inning. Great effort by the players. Gators were a little sloppy last night but South Carolina won it, Florida did not lose it. Tanner is a class act.

I don't really care how it was done, at least the Gators didn't win. I know I know that is not very sporting of me, but when it comes to the University of Florida I'm not a good sport. Sorry.

I have never really noticed that in any of your previous postings about the Gators, Mel.

Baseball bores me to tears, so I didn't pay any attention to who was in the CWS. On the bright side, now that this is over there is nothing in between us and football season. Labor day can't come soon enough! Go Big Orange!

    Gus,

Go out and get yourself some umpire gear. You get to watch the game from behind homeplate, kick coaches out of games, check out the Little League moms from behind your mask, and stuff like that.

Gus we may disagree on baseball be it college or professional but we can agree on it's almost time for football. Come September 3 in Dallas Tx the Tigers and the Ducks will be squareing off in Jerry's Palace. We gobbled up 37,000 tickets so I feel the place will have a purple and gold tint to it that night. Good luck to the Vols as we make a visit to Knoxville October 15th............hope its a great birthday trip for me.
