toro GM 1000 Reel disengages Cancel The title field is required!

   Our toro 1000 will randomly disengage in the middle of mowing.The tension on belt is ok,But there is play in the housing when you ingage and disengage the reel.I went through the manual but did not find any thing for adjustments.Any suggestions on this would be helpful,Thanks Sean Beard.

   Sean,
   When we see this happening it usually involves the brass pin located near the lever. Open the case and look inside and you will see a small pieces of spring steel and a small brass pin. When they wear it allows them to pop out.
