I have a Toro greensmower 3150Q(1 season old) with a travel pedal that sticks. When the pedal is pushed forward or down for reverse the pedal does not return to neutral when released. I just pulled the mower out of winter storage. The pedal operated fine last season. Now it doesn't operate properly. The mower was stored indoors and worked fine when I serviced the mower in January. Any thoughts?

We had the same issue with our 3150. Ours got so stiff that we would snap the bolt holding the pedal to the cable. We took the pedal cable off and lubed it up, helped a little but it is still stiffer than it was when we originally got it. I think the problem is in the rear hydro hook-up area?? We are still looking into it.

I believe I found my issue. I removed the cable from both ends. The cable moved fine. It was the pedal itself. I removed the bolt and pulled the pedal off as the pedal didn't move freely. I cleaned the shaft of the pedal and used some fine grit sandpaper to clean the shaft and then cleaned the bushings the the pedal travels in. I then applied grease to the pedal shaft and now it works great.
