How often do you grind greens, tees and fairway unit reels per year?

I grind my greens every three or four weeks unless we top dress then it is more often. My fwys , tees three to four times per year ,depends on worm castings and other conditions. their is no set time every course and tech has there own way of doing things. Keeping them sharp is the goal.
Hope this help answer our question. I should add we are all bent Greens ,Tees, Fwys.

We grind once a year, and are located SW MO.  We are a multi-facility operation, with limited equipment, share one equipment manager, and our old grinder is located at one of the courses, so unless there is damage to a reel, we really don't have a good option to grind reels in season.  We don't put a lot of hours on our machines, except for the tee/approach mower, (450 hours), our fairway is about 300 hours, and our greens mower is 250 hours in a season.

Central IN, bent G, T, and FW, blue/rye/bent Intermediate.  Greens get new knives and a grind in January, and July.  T, FW, and Int new knives and grind in the winter only.  Back lap all as needed, roughly every 2 to 3 weeks.
We have a set of sand sharks set up for greens to use for 2 or 3 days after each monthly verticut and topdress.

I don’t stick to a strict amount of time for grinding, it goes by if the cutting unit is still able to cut paper with little contact. Normally works out to 3-4 weeks for greens, tees and approach 5-6 weeks, fairways about the same 5-6 weeks. It will change depending on the amount of sand used on greens but that is my normal times.

We do greens every 2 weeks. All others are as needed through the year. And those others are done typically once per year (winter time) All depends on your Super and his top dressing needs/wants. Castings and other things. But we have spares that deal with our top dressing days.

I grind our greens reels every two weeks in the growing season and every 3-4 weeks in the winter/non growing months. I also face the bedknives weekly. No backlapping at all! We have two sets so it allows us to keep things fresh. Fairways reels are ground as needed. Last year they were ground four times. Rough unit rotary blades are removed and sharpened every two weeks.
