Just looking for information and opinions on Jacobsen Eclipse 322. We have been using Deere 2500 B and Es as tees and greensmowers for years and I really like and know them. Unfortunately, we need to replace our greensmowers and what we have to spend and the slim market, have not found what we are looking for. I have come across a great deal on a couple Jacobsen Eclipse 322s. I know a lot falls on presonal preference and all, but looking for anybody's opinions or experience. Are they good mowers and from a service and repair standpoint have they been good?
    Thanks
    Paul

We have a diesel hybrid and a gas hybrid, both 3WD. Our biggest problems have come from the traction system and the lift cylinders. Parts are extremely expensive and often slow to get them coming from Jake. They cut fantastic and are comfortable to operate.

We have the fully electric (3 of them) and one gas/hybrid.  Operating and quality of cut are spectacular.  We have had several lift cylendars go (and as Sam mentioned, they are a little on the expensive side).

Ran two diesel hybrid 322's for 11 years at my current course, Still using one for top dressing clean up. Cut is great. Down side is lift actuator's , reel motor wiring harnesses and if a reel motor dies. I did have one smoke a drive motor but i think that was operator error. If you buy a used one pull all the lift arms apart and completely out of the machine and add grease fittings as ours had none and i think thats what kills the lift actuators on them. Since I did that our actuators have been way better.
