Disconnecting the 4wd on the 8800 terrain cut mower

    Does anyone know if its possible to disconnect the 4wd units on the 8800. there tearing up my turf too much when turning and they are not really needed where I am at.

    Not sure if you can, check with your dealer on that. You can make big turns and ease the turf issue for now.

    I just wanted to update anyone interested. 

    yes you can unplug them in the back. they are actually built to disconnect when placed in reverse.
