Pro gator 2020.  Both units doing similar, 1 more so than the other.  After a filter and oil change the steering has been jerky, and sometimes doesn't work.  Suspect air in the lines and or pump.  They were working fine before the service.  Any ideas how to purge the air?

Crack a line on steering cylinder, but the system should purge itself.

Simple oversight.  We had been cracking oil lines and nothing since last week.  Doing some research  I saw there are 2 pumps and  oil reservoirs.  Javier, the equipment tech doesn't speak much English and can't read Spanish well.  OK, so 2 pumps.  The front oil tank was full.  When trying to purge the air and nothing came out we thought the problem was with the pump.  Javier then checked the other oil reservoir in the rear and it was way low.  He added oil and the steering worked. Not knowing the rear tank was for the pump for the steering we were focused on the wrong oil reservoir and pump.  The lift bed was working just fine.
