Hello all, looking at putting together a field repair tool kit for basic field repairs. Here is a list of items I was going to use. Let me know if you have any items to add.

Basic 3/8 socket set in metric and standard
    Basic SAE and metric wrenches
    Small extension
    #2 Phillips screwdriver
    Slotted screwdriver
    Small prybar
    Pocket OHM meter
    Jumper wire
    Wire strippers
    Seat bypass connector
    Vice grips
    Pliers
    Assorted fuses

We have mostly Toro equipment in our fleet

Thanks for the reply. Good items I was thinking about some of those as well. I will not have a designated cart and have a relatively small property so keeping it basic. I do have a nice small jack I acquired from a junkyard that works well for flat tires on triplexes. Also adding a hammer, how could I forget that.

    Good list!
Tire plugs are a must (especially for rocky courses like mine), good call Andy.
I would add a laser thermometer (I usually just toss mine in as I leave the shop). They're really handy to check for bearing and motor failures in the field.

Also consider a small punch to punch out broken bolts or pins. Now that you've got your hammer....
