I am in the market for a new tractor and will be only looking at Kubota. While this tractor will serve several purposes - the priority is to have it be ideal for using our Vertidrain 7316 on greens. Currently looking at the L3200 / L3800 / L4600 models.

Any thoughts about model selection and options/accessories would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

We didn't have the luxury of looking at just one model, but was able to purchase a L4600 Kubota over a Kioti, mainly due to the weight issue when hooking up our Vertidrain. We wanted a tractor with at least a PTO HP rating of mid 30's. We will use it for other items as well, including pulling a pull behind mower during the spring growing season if needed.

I don't know if your looking at the cruise control option, and what it is like on the 3200 and 3800, but we liked the that feature on the 4600 as well, it is a manual type where you can lock the same speed in for every green, every pass. The older versions didn't allow that, and it was the same on the Kioti as well.

    Chris,
We have the 7316 that we use on greens and even fairways. We have a JD 4310 with flotation tires on it. it' 30hp and small enough to maneuver around the greens. Not sure what Kubota has that is comparable.

We run ours on a kubota 3130 with a homemade weight kit up front.
