The 18hp engine on our Toro greens master 3150 has started blowing a tons of oil into air filter area completely soaking the air filter and shutting done the engine. We have run a compression test in both cylinders and they test good and also they maintain the pressure. So we're are guessing nothing major is wrong with the engine. Any suggestions on what maybe the issues is. THANKS once again.

Usually a bad oil fill cap seal, dipstick seal, or crankcase gasket. Most often it's the latter unfortunately.

I would say it's the crankcase gasket has sucked in. Briggs has a "new improved" gasket part number 845254.

Same as above . Also check that oil level isn't mysteriously increasing , stuck float in carb . Keep oil at halve way point on stick and check dipstick seal .

All great answers, start small and work towards the crankcase.
How many hours on your engine?

The seal and the gasket will show signs of wetness/leaking so you should be able to tell really quick. They are known for the gaskets going bad, but most times in the past the O ring on the dip-stick will take care of the problem. Compression testing is fine, but the most accurate way of find your issue is performing a leak down test.

I have seen it, on the vanguard engine, where a spark plug is slightly malfunctioning. Causing gas to get in the crankcase. Installed new plugs and the problem went away.
