The 18hp engine on our Toro greens master 3150 has started blowing a tons of oil into air filter area completely soaking the air filter and shutting done the engine. We have run a compression test in both cylinders and they test good and also they maintain the pressure. So we're are guessing nothing major is wrong with the engine. Any suggestions on what maybe the issues is. THANKS once again.

Try replacing the breather assembly (top center of the engine). Briggs & Stratton part number 808984 I believe.

check your oil level. If it is over filled you will get it coming out your crank case breather.

If it's not overfilled with oil then I am willing to bet it's sucked in the crankcase gasket like all these engines do. I have replaced many of these bad gaskets and they all suck the gasket in the same spot. Usually if been long enough you will notice it seeping oil out up near the top front of crankcase which is tough to see the way they mount these engines in some equipment. Briggs put out a "new improved gasket" a while ago part number 845254. Very common issue. I have never seen a bad crankcase breather in these engines yet.
