Toro sidewinder: blades do not complete shut off

    We are having an issue with our toro sidewinder. When disengaging the pto the blades do not completely stop. Talking with the toro tech, he said play with the valve on decreasing the braking valve. Next it could be a seal kit that needs to be replaced. Last could be a new cartridge. Just wonder if anyone has dealt with this problem? Appreciate any help... thanks

    I had the same trouble with a 4500. It was a bad deck motor believe it or not. Doing a quick case drain test identified the bad motor. However, I'll bet the culprit is more likely one of the ones you mentioned.
