Toro Workman 2100 Backfires Cancel The title field is required!

   We have 2 Workman 2100s that like to backfire after going down hills. I had to replace the carb in one last year and I have tried to adjust the mix, but nothing seems to work. Both units even try to run an extra 5-10 seconds after taking foot off the gas. Any ideas?

   For the engine that keeps on running check and make sure the throttle plate on the carburator is shutting all the way. Checking the throttle cable for binding or resistance, and the return spring. The engine also has an rpm shut down module that shuts the spark off below 1300 rpm's, check the module for a good ground.
