I posted a topic on Toro Equipment a while back and got positive feedback. We are about to pull the trigger and buy two new greens mowers and we are considering the Toro Triflex 3300. I know these machines are new to the market, but haven't found anyone around me that has one. My salesman hasn't sold any, but says what he has been hearing about them has been great. I know, what else is a salesman going to say? I talked to a rep 1,500 miles from me that has sold 15 of these units and has had no complaints thus far. He was going to email me a reference list, but I thought I would post the question on here as well. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I can't speak on those units, but I can tell you that we have the JD 2500E's and they are great units. The cutting units are floating and pivot 360 degrees due to the ball-joint style setup. I believe that the JD unit is the only unit that has no restrictions in it's ability to rotate and pivot.

I have a JD 2500E and can't wait to make it a tee mower it's always going out of adjustment which may not be as noticeable on tees. The Toro triflex rotates like that as well, the reels are higher and don't swing around while transporting and it transports faster. There are tons of things I like about the triflex, but that's just based on my research and demonstration of the unit. They are very expensive, which is why I'm looking for someone that is currently using them.

We have 3 of the 3320 hybrid mowers here and they have been exceptional. They are used on our approaches which are very undulated and they follow the contours without scalping. The operators say they are very comfortable and the Equipment Techs have only had to perform the break in service and adjust the reels. No issues at all.

These new machines really do everything Toro claims. I'm confident that you won't regret this choice.

We have a lease package coming up next spring and opted to stick with the tried and true 3150Q's instead of switching to the new model. Part of this though is we have spare reels and parts already in stock for the existing fleet. If that isn't an issue for you, then give the new TriFlex a shot!

That's not an issue. We have a a mix of equipment, which makes it easier to buy something like this. We demoed the 3150-Q and liked that a lot too. I think we are going to stick with the triflex and even though they cost more. As a matter of fact I'm trying to get away from that mix of equipment.
