Has anyone used the Miltona Jobsaver spiker setup for a Toro Procore? It replaces traditional tine holders with a plate that has several spring loaded solid spikes. It punches a ton of clean holes, but you have to remove the turf guards for it to work. This manipulates the machines sensors for the coring head, leading to the coring head "bouncing" up and down. Anyone experience this or have any ideas? We have tried it in the 'ground follow' mode and in the 'manual' mode--no luck. Thanks.

I gave them a try several years ago and did not like the results. Don't exactly remember the problem, but it sounds similar to what you are describing. I returned mine as I didn't see them being a viable option for my situation.

The springs go bad on them quickly and they get hung up. Not worth the cost in my opinion. We used them one year and then tried just the tine portion without the spring/turf guard and ended up just using different size needle tines.
