We have issues with overheating, some are from employees not spending enough time with the air hose blowing the radiators clean. Is there another method you use (chemical, etc) that keeps them clean?

It seems to me that the main issue is the open bottom allowing dry clippings from below the unit to get sucked up into the radiator fins, and Toros design team would better address this by closing it off and utilizing a side screened louver system, a hood scoop with forced air, or something that at least makes it harder to "vacuum up" clippings.

Have any of you thought the same or fabricated something?

Also, if you considered radiator replacement intervals, how many hours or patch jobs before enough is enough?

I will be moving away from these models unless the design changes, but must live with them for now.

    Thanks in advance, Ian

Not familiar with the 6500 but I know that the 4500 have a clutch fan system that lasts about 2 to 3 years and has to be replaced at over 400$. Yes the design needs some work and I told every salesman but they don't pass it on.

Just an FYI on the $400 fan clutch for the 4500. Order Napa # 261308 for $28 and save a few hundred bucks. It is a perfect fit on our 2006 models. You might want to double check on the newer years in case they have changed a bit.

    Brett,
Thanks for the info, if you need info to replace a caliper piston on a workman md or would like to find brake pads for 22.50 ea rather than the 90.00 plus from you know who send me a note. I love saving money even when it's not mine.
