Toro 3150 Q reel will not drop Cancel The title field is required!

   The middle reel on our two yr old 3150Q will not go all the way down when we have our verticutting reels on. When we use our regular mowing reels there is no problem. It seems to be the lift arm not going down far enough. I thought it was because the reel did not way enough but if this true it would be a common issue. We have lubed the lift arm pivot point but no change.

   I would remove the cylinder and raise and lower it manually and see what happens. Even with the lube, the arm could still be binding up on you. if it works fine hook it back up and try it, when it starts to stop, crack your hydraulic line and see if it goes down, may have something clogging the port. My guess is you'll find the lift arm is getting held up a bit.
