I have the strangest thing happening with one of my older (20080 tORO 3100's. When I make a shart turn to the left, it totally shuts off. No spitting or sputtering, it just dies. Turn right all you want, but God forbid you have to make a sharp turn between a green and bunker/lake to the left.

    Any ideas?

    Maybe the seat switch.

I know this is not the time of the year to be funny, but you said "shart." I would go home and take a shower if I sharted on a left turn. I agree with the seat switch.

    Best of Luck,
    Charlie B.

OOPS. The one time I needed the autocorrect that I so despise on my iPhone.

On Topic - I jumped the seat switch so it is no longer an issue. Still having the same issues. Any more ideas?

Dont know the exact machine, but Toro likes to use magnetic proximity switches on lift arms to "stop" the lift action. Maybe one is out of adjustment/lift arm worn some causing a false reading?

    Just throwing out thoughts.

Check the proximity switch on the brake pedal sounds like it could be the culprit. Might just be a loose bolt or to much play.

If your machine has a relay for ignition shut down/run, check that, the Jac GKIV has one under the dash board.
    Good Luck
