I have recently inherited this spray rig and am not pleased with the spray pattern. The rig has a diaphragm pump and the pattern looks wavy with the pulse of the pump. The nozzles I currently have installed are teejet 1/4TTJ06-VS. If anyone has the same spray rig can you please tell me about your set up as far as nozzles, pressure, etc...

Check the pressure dampener on the top of the pump. The round ball looking thing with tire valve sticking out of it. It should have 8psi of air in it. If any liquid comes out, the dampener is bad. This is meant to prevent the pulsing you are seeing.

The good thing is it's and easy and cheap fix.

Thanks that worked on the spray pattern. I have another question so the sprayer make a constant knocking sound when the pump is engaged?

Thank God Toro is going away from that double diaphram pump. The newer model pumps make that thing look like something from the dark ages.
