Has anyone worked with these 2 items. If so how do you like it. I have no reel or bedknife grinder at my shop and Im thinking about purchasing these for a really good price. Thanks for you feedback.

I have sip grinders in my shop and couldn't ask for anything better. Those look like they need a bit of tlc. Contact mark Pilger at SIP, he'll be able to tell you the history of that set and any other info you need. All-in-all you have a good find there!

I have the bedknife grinder, And it looks exactly like the one in your picture!

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT! I did upgrade the bed bar fencing and upgraded to ceramic stones best thing I could of done the upgrade was about 2500.00 bucks, and I have an updated grinder!

I have used the reel grinder they are good grinders!

Personally I prefer the Foley. I have a 652 on its way. Can not WAIT!

But, I agree with Mike, Great find.

As Mike suggested, contact Mark Pilger and he can go over those units and update them if needed. I have used them all and I will say, it's my opinion but you have the best grinders on the market. I just purchased two 7000 reel grinders and two bedknife grinders from Mark and I am extremely happy. Fast, Accurate, and easy to use. Your working off a squared frame and unit, not a untrue center shaft that has paint and rust. A reel ground on a Peerless Grinder is a close to perfect as one can get. Your working off a leveling plate with a grinding stone under it. Mark will be update his instructional videos later this month at our facility so you can see all the bells and whistles in action on SIP's website very soon.

    Regards,

I have sold and purchased SIP Grinders. That company is the greatest. They can make the grinders new for a fraction of the cost of a new grinder. Your company will never have to buy new grinders again. This is an awesome find.
