Our Yamaha Dealer is now rejuvenating golf cart batteries. It cost about $450 for a set of four 12v batteries. They take them in and put them on a machine that rejuvenates them. They come back to you with a two year warranty. We got 4 years warranty on new batteries when the carts were new. I believe Trojan only warranties new replacements 2 years also, at about $750 a set. Potential to save about 10 K for my fleet. Anyone ever hear of this process, sounds exciting but too good too be true.

I have always been skeptical about things like this. There may be some merit to it but I would research it thoroughly and see what that 2 year refurbished warranty covered. If you did it every two years, you would have more than payed for a new set of Trojans.

See what the minimum they will do (sets of batteries) and give it a test trial. Might be if they will do 1 or 2 sets for you. Some things that sound to good usually are.........ask the friends of Bernie Maddof.
