Next fall I am looking at getting a new reel grinder, what would be my best one to go for, or even others. I have time to look and money is a small part of the factor in the end I really want the best and easyest to use.

    Foley 605

    BernHard Duel 4000

    Neary 555

    Thanks,

SIP/Peerless Grinders. Fastest, and most accurate in my opinion, and I know a few others that use them and would agree with me. They are also well-built, service is just outstanding, and they are probably one of the best priced sets of grinders money can buy. Give, Mark Pilger a call. He is the engineer and designer. Mark is always improving on is products, not to mention he is the owner and you will get his personal attention. I would certainly look into them. I have the Foley here, but had the SIP grinder at the last course and agree with Henry on the SIP Grinder.

Foley and Neary are basically the same company. Foley acquired Neary in 1998 and operate as 2 separate companies.

SIP Grinders is what I would recommend. I worked in sales for a while and we sold a bunch of them without a hiccup. I have also purchased them as a superintendent without any issues.

That is great help, not being able to go to the show really hurts more than they can ever know.

Hi Keith, We just purchased the Bernhard Angle Master 4000, Express Dual 4000, and the Express Relief this past winter. I am sure all have their + and - . Bernhard is very easy to use, set up takes no time at all. As far as the quality and being accurate, I couldn`t imagine another grinder being better. The kicker that sold me to Bernhard is that working in Japan like yourself, Bernhard is the only grinder manufacturer that employs a factory representative that is based and lives in Tokyo. The service you will receive from Bernhard vs the other competitors in Japan is incomparable.

We have Bernhard grinders. They are the best in my opinion. They are easy to set up and use. They have a great warranty on them. I believe it is like ten (10) years. The service has been excellent. The 4000DX that we have comes with a lift bench. Which makes it nice to load the reels into the machine and to work on the reels. Hope this helps.

I second the quality and service of SIP. Mark drove from Tampa, FL to Tulsa, OK to meet with us after the sale to answer any questions we had. Pricing was great!

I second the pricing and service. You can get two sets of grinders from SIP for the cost one set of ED's. Parts are fast when needing them. Mark is continuously updating the products and personally makes sure you as a customer are happy and understand the product and proper way to use them. I've had my two sets for about a year and half now and could not be happier. In 30 plus years these are the best on the market, fastest, and most accurate. Last year between a 9.5 month period we ground roughly 1200 reels. Never a need to lap with these unit, nor any cone reels. I highly recommend checking them out.
