Measuring Tape For Reels Cancel The title field is required!

   We have a tape with a magnet on it for measuring the reels. It is an old tape, but the magnet part broke of and it already has too much tape holding it together. Anybody know where to buy these reel tape measures at?

   How accurate are those? Many reel specs are in the .030" maximum range end to end. The SIP PI Tape is accurate to a couple thousandths if used correctly. I couldn't imagine a fabric tape much closer than an 1/8" or more?

   Thank you for the info. I just bought a couple of those tapes from SIP/Simplex Peerless and they work great. The new tape differs from the old tape I had that it has additional calculations for different reels. They were about $100.00 a piece, but well worth it. Thanks for the responses.
