Looking at loader bucket options from Kubota, there is a heavy-duty front loader bucket that has a rounded back and another that isn't quite as heavy duty but has a square back design.

Can anyone give me clues to what the advantages of having a square or rounded bucket is? For the cost difference I'm inclined to go the heavy duty route, unless for some reason the rounded bucket is an issue?

    Thanks!

Rounded bucket self cleans easier. Never buy cheap in earth moving equipment or accessories.

Thought I posted this before but don't see it now. Inquire about a skid steer adapter plate and a skid steer bucket. Heavier duty bucket and can get forks and other attachments for it. We did this on our tractor and it was a lot cheaper than the manufacturers standard bucket alone.
