    Hello,

We have a 10 year old JD 2500 greensmower.
It has been dying after mowing just a few greens.
We then have to let it sit for a while, before starting again.
I believe the fuel pump is working correctly and we replaced a voltage regulator.
To me, the whole thing seems hot - but, it is a 110 degrees out.
A mechanic mentioned a "timing modulator" to us ?
(I am not noticing any codes flashing from under the seat)

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,

Fuel cap may not be venting, and causing a vapor lock. Also, check fuel lines and make sure they are routed away from your exhaust system. With the heat we've been having this can cause you problems as well. I remember when we had the Greens-king V's and they came out and ran fuel lines away from the exhaust, and even opened up the cowling where the tailpipe exited so more heat would escape the engine compartment. What engine is in it? Could be an ignition module or coil going bad too.

ours did the same thing, it was either ignitor (am105574), or delay module (am128906)

cant remember which one solved the problem, but works great now

    hope this helps

    It's kawasaki engine.

We do have a patchwork job on a coil.
Not a very good sparkplug connection, as a result. ?

Thanks guys, i appreciate the help.
