We are looking to get a hydraulic hose press with fittings. I wanted to know what the recommendations of this board were. Thanks.

Here is a video I did a while back on Hydraulic Hose Repair.
I got my set up from Lawson Products,
Many will work out a great deal for you. Some Napa dealers also have a program to get you set up with a system.

We have done this also. You may want to look into the place where you currently get your hoses to see what brand they use. I say this because if you need a fitting that you do not have in stock you can pick it up there. One thing I learned is that the differnent companies fittings and macine are not interchangable.

Ditto on the different machines and different fittings don't work with each other. We had a Good Year machine for years and were buying Gates fittings from CarQuest. Turns out the Good Year machine was over crimping them. CarQuest stepped up and took our old machine in on a trade for a new Gates machine for no charge. We did end up buying about $1,500 worth of hoses and fittings in the beginning from them so that we were stocked up.
