I am looking for a used/new hydraulic dump trailer to be pulled behind a JD 1070 tractor. Most of the searches I have done so far have either produced cheap pieces of garbage, or trailers that are "overkill" and cost way too much (budget is 2K-3K). Looking for something light, yet durable and that has a wheel base under 70". Something that will haul 2-4 ton. Any ideas/brands/avenues.

    Thanks,

They've custom built two for me for great prices. One was their 5 x 10 turf model for around $3,200. The other was a 6 x 10, dual 12k axles, dual 10k lift cylinders and 3/16 floor for $4,600. Both have been bullet proof and are used daily. Of course, they are right up the street so those prices don't include freight.

We actually have a UDump that is probably 15-20 years old that is still going strong. So Andy finally gets one right. Must be too cold for him to leave the office.

We have a Taylor Way, which is almost identical to a Pronovost. I'd recommend either of those brands.

I see a lot of these Bri-Mar dump trailers around with contractors. Don't know who sells them but might be cheaper than golf course equipment dealers. Kenneth Ingram, UMD.
