My Greens King VI use to work great then developed an intermittent reel lowering issue. Now all it will do is lower twice and on the third try it wont go down. I'll shut the machine off wait a few minutes turn it back on and usually repeats the exact same scenario. Never any issue with it lifting. I've replaced the lowering solenoid, replaced the joystick with a new spare I had, still same results. When we bought this used the mow lift foot pedals have never worked but the joystick always has. Beginning to think my mow lift valve is junk but don't know how to test it. Has anyone had this issue or some thoughts on solving the problem. Thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

I have 2 x Jake GK VI which are our greens mowers. I have had the issue before & it sounds like a dodgy pressure switch on your lift valve, under the left foot panel. As for the foot pedals not working sounds like dodgy "dip switches" or contaminated / damaged plugs in the foot switch wiring. Essentially what happens with the lift/lower system is, the wiring goes from the solenoid, split to go to the foot controls & joy stick. If I have any lift lower issues I pull each plug under the foot plate & spray with WD 40 or contact cleaner. All those plugs are exposed to moisture due to machine wash down. I hope this helps.

    GKIV, but same ballpark issue.
Lift arm started to go rogue an lift and lower intermittently until it wouldn't lift at all. Ended up being worn ram seal. Spendy, but easy fix.
