We are going to be turning over our golf cart fleet probably around May of 2012. We currently have Club Car and are again looking at Club Car either Club Car Precedent 12L or i2 and the EZGO RXV. We have both on-site for a demo and both are fine carts. I would love to hear all of your experiences with both carts. EZGo has a great braking system but I would love to hear how they have fared after being in the field for some time. Club Car went back to the 8 volt batteries so I am curious what you think of the two systems. I am anxious to hear your success and failure stories on both carts. As all of you know, whether it is lease or purchase, it is still a major investment. I appreciate all of your input.

We have 6 year old Club Cars that were well maintained and look great. We have decided to change batteries again and go another 3 years with them.

I wish we would do that, instead we lease golf carts for 3 years and then get new. Meanwhile we are running 7 to 10 year old turf equipment as front line pieces.

We have greensmowers that are 10 years old going 12 months per year in South Florida. They were scheduled to be replaced, but we did not have the money. Our mechanics have become phenomenal at troubleshooting problems caused by worn out bushings, etc.

Club car. Our newer fleet of gas ezgos are junk! They are constantly breaking and literally falling apart. I cant wait until our lease is over.Easily flattened tires,Loose wires, bad belts and starters, hardware falling off & rubber shock bushings that crack and fall out.Lastly if you drive through a small puddle the belts slip.

Same story at my course. Gas E-Z-Gos that should fall under lemon laws.

Fortunately we are going electric. Scott, what you did is our other option. We roll under the blanket of the casino on January 1 rather than directly through the tribe. Replacing batteries and a bunch of seats may end up being the way we go but I am hoping for replacement.
