Equipment Lifts Cancel The title field is required!

   I am looking to purchase and install an equipment lift in my shop, but am having trouble finding many manufacturers of turf lifts. I have contacted Golf Lift and Trion. What are some of the other manufacturers, and does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your insight.

   We have a Heftee 8000 in one of our shops which is similar to a Manitowac 8000. Both are excellent lifts, but have trays which prevent the setting of tri-plex reels.
   
   For our other shop, this past summer we purchased a Rotary turf lift. Similar to a golf lift, but about half the price. We paid just over $4,000 for ours including installation. The Rotary lift has a 10,000# maximum lift and comes with a tray in the back and the wheel "dollies" in the front that allow for tri-plexes to be set-up. We also opted for the truck arms so we can lift up trucks with the change of a few pins. We got this through Car-Quest.

   Have had a Manitow for about 9-10 years and never knew how work got done before after installing a lift. Very possibly the most important tool to provide any equipment tech.

   Here is the brochure. Now that I'm looking at it again, the maximum lift capacity is 7,000#. We got the TL07-EH2 with the optional N2206 arm kit.

   We are currently in the market for an equipment hoist for our shop. Having just hired a new Mechanic, our eyes were opened by every candidate we interviewed about the importance of having a lift/hoist. My question is, what recommendations about companies can any of you out there provide? Don't want to buy a lemon.

    I am ashamed of how many mechanics I asked to work without a lift. I hired a company to evaluate my shop and the first thing they said was, "You don't have a lift?" We have the Golf Lift now and they use it constantly. We do golf carts and golf maintenance equipment in the same shop. I think that was the best use of funds in my career.

    Our previous mechanic had begged for one for most of his 23 years at the club. Interviewed 7 guys for the job and first question every guy asked was "where's the lift?".     We have had the Golf Lift for 14 years and love it. It is essential for getting under machines to identify problems and do regular service. It also is very convenient for daily reel setup at eye level rather than crawling around on hands and knees.
    
    From what I hear the Rotary Lift works just as well.
    
    We obtained the lift in 1997 after using 16' steel ramps to put a Ransome 6150 10' Rotary mower up in the air on two piles of pallets so we could remove a leaking hydraulic tank that had to go down, not up. That would have been a great day for a OSHA visit.

    We have a Heftee 8000 in one shop that ran us almost $9,000. Last year, I bought a Rotary Turf lift from our local CarQuest for just over $4,000 for our other shop. Both do the same job. The Rotary is set up more like the Golf Lift, but with an overhead beam. We opted for the optional truck arms and it can lift up to 7,000#'s. Installation was $300 and scheduled through CarQuest. Worth a look.
    
    I've also had several Manitowac lifts and had experience with Golf Lift. At the end of the day, any lift is better than no lift.

    I agree with the trion, but I don't believe they are making them anymore. I think you can still get service parts, but no complete lifts. May want to check with them and see what they have you may end up getting a great deal on one left in stock. The golf lift is what I recommend and used at my past two facilities.
