Hey guys, just wondering if anyone is using any devices or siphons to transfer from 30 gal drums to the sprayer. I'm just wondering what is out there to make these transfers easier on our backs than tipping a drum. I don't really have a descent rack system or a secured area to leave these drums tipped so they are always ready to be poured.

Looking for faster ways to spray fwys with wetting agents and liquid fertilizer mixes.

    Thanks!

    Andy,

What kind of life span are you getting from these? I would mainly be pumping a 10-0-0-6Fe fertilizer (so fairly corrosive) and then my wetting agent TriCure which is very viscous. Just curious as to which of these would work best. I will be purchasing 2 one for each of the above applications.

    Thanks!

used this for 2 seasons and still going strong. I bought 5 of them. Pump 18-3-4, aquifer, aqua aid, infiltrx, micro mix, and phosphite 30, and have had no issues. Price is right!

We have some of these as well.

They all hold up pretty good. I can say the only problem we have had with them has been the handle breaking off due to misuse or being hit. We use them for some similar products you mentioned.

Andrew check out some of this stuff. We got the plastic drum stands through Safety Kleen and draw out of them through a plastic adapter. We were eating the pumps left and right. Working out nicely.

    Andy,

Nice thing is that I could break all 5 and still be around the price of the one!

You can build a rack out of wood easily and lay the drums on their side, then tap them. Works well, 5gal bucket for the transfer. Had one awhile back that held three, 50gal barrels.
