   Is there a preferred paper thickness for the various heights of cut used on the golf course to determine quality of cut?? I've seen newspaper, business cards, etc. used. What best simulates cutting grass?

   We use old phone book paper to check our greens and tee mowers and use old business cards to check our fairway mowers. If you go to the national you can get a years supply of business cards checking out the booths.
