Carlisle 18x10.5-10 tires Cancel The title field is required!

   We began using a pair of JD 2500 E's last summer and have been pretty happy with them so far. However, we're having a bit of an issue with the front tires. The inner part of the tire seems to separate from the other ply's leaving them out of round, and inevitably failing while in use. Our distributor has taken a couple back and warrantied them, but it seems to be becoming a bit ridiculous. Anyone else having this issue with like machines from around mid season last year? I tried to take some pictures, but they really don't show up that well to post. Thanks. We are running them around 9-10 PSI.

   We had many issues with those tires. Mostly sidewall failure. Our dealer switched all of ours under warranty to the 20x10-10 size and the new 2500E's I took delivery of a few months ago I requested these. No problems since switching. The 18x10.5-10 were 2 ply and the 20x10-10 are 4 ply.

   Same issues with the same tires. I will see what ply they are and switch if needed.

   At my last course we had JD 2500's and had the same issues with the Carlisle 20x10-10 2-ply tires. Switched to the Kenda 4-ply 20x10-10 and never had and issue again other than the operators had a hard time telling if the tire was low as they didn't compress as much.

   Carlisle 20x10.5-10 2 ply tires have a real bad problem with busting the cords on the sidewalls and separating. We had all of ours switched to the Kenda 4ply and the problem no longer exists. I've also had problems with Carlisle 20x10-10 Turf Saver 4 plys doing the same thing.

   try running higher pressure maybe 18psi. we have same issue with Carlyle but it helps a lot to keep pressure
   up . when the machine bounces or rolls over objects it can fold or crease the tire at lower psi.

   The problem, Trampass, is that these tyres are designed to suit this application, low psi of 8 to 12, no suspension. When you inflate more, you wind up with more of a rounded tyre track or imprint which is a problem when greens mowing with a triplex. Titan & others don't seem to have the same issues Carlisle have with the side wall cords de laminating.

   I agree changing tire pressure effects other things but can help in some situations.
