   Has anyone found a place for after market starters? I need one for a cushman truckster(model # 898659) with a 660 suziki engine in it. Dealer wants $700 plus for it. Thanks for any help.

   See if you can find any numbers or info on it (the starter itself) and give these guys a call...

   Every town of 10,000 or more should have a starter genertor shop. We get ours rebuilt for between $60 to $100. You may need to actually dig out the yellow pages.

   For a new or rebuilt one? or just to rebuild one? I too am needing to get one on a 1995 cushman rebuilt or replaced. The machine is about shot but it is still good for training newer crew members on how to drive a standard.
   
   Why doesn't any of the younger generation know how to drive standard transmissions?
