Just trying to get a little feedback on after market bedknives. We are paying near $70 for factory knives and trying to find a comparable product and save a few bucks. Any opinions on JRM or R&R? Any other bedknives on the market that someone has found comparable?

I've never used them, but check out Stens.

We have used R&R knives without trouble in the past on greens, tees and fairways. We do grind bedknives before use the first time and have seen little difference.

We usually buy OEM to give business to our local distributors because they do so much for us.

We use the JRM bedknives and the tines. The JRM bedknives are as good, if not better, than OEM, at a much nicer price. We are also using the JRM Dillennium tines. They are remarkable. With 2 coring machines, we aerated all our greens (20) twice and were on the 3rd aerification before they needed to be changed.

Our experiences with JRM's products have been similar....when it comes to bedknives and tines, I don't think there is a better product for the price.

JRM all the way. In most cases I feel they are better than OEM knives. We also use JRM tines and their grinding wheels for the our bedknife grinders. I've been using them for years and couldn't be happier with them and the service.

We use a combination of JRM and OEM. JRM seem much more consistent so I use those on greens and normally use OEM on everything else. $70 seems a bit excessive for a bedknife we are in the middle to high 30's on ours.

Thanks for the insight guys. And your right Stephen about the cost being excessive. Not sure why a bed knife costs so much up here. The $70 bucks includes taxes so actual price is a little closer to 60. Online at JRM the cost looks to be as much as 2/3 or more cheaper.
