Acquiring two new JD fairway mowers in the near future.

Looking for opinions on 7500 vs 7700 models.

Our fairways are 328/tifgreen overseeded in the winter.  Our fairway units at times are tasked with scalping in the rough, during our overseeding prep as well.

    Appreciate any thoughts.

    Take care,

I liked the 7700 more than the 7500. Cutting units are completely different animals. The QA7s (7700) are much heavier of course. There are tricks to keeping them adjusted correctly. I hated the rotating rear brushes on both the QA7 and QA5 so that's a wash!

Go with the 7700, if it's not too late. You guys are similar to us here in Vegas. I've had much better luck (QOC, longevity, after cut appearance) with 7" diameter cutting units, no matter the manufacturer.
