5400 Reels Delay in Lowering Cancel The title field is required!

   When operating our 5400 Fairway mower you have to hold the joystick forward until the reels decide they are going to drop. The first fairway is usually the worst and then the problem seems to get better as the day goes on. But occasionally the problem will flare back up over the next several hours of mowing. We have replaced the solenoid and everything else operates normally on the unit. Please Help?

   Try replacing the hydraulic filter.
   
   In morning when fluid is cooler, flow might not be as good, and when fluid warms up it would travel through the plugged filter a little easier. Give that a try.
