4wd on JD 8800 Cancel The title field is required!

   I have a JD 8800 and the 4wd has stopped working. This is an automatic feature and isn't controlled with a switch. Anybody have any ideas?

   Check the solenoid above the rear axle on the drivers side of the unit. Make sure the nut has not backed off, or the solenoid fallen off. If it's still installed correctly then check the solenoid as it may have gone bad. These are the two most common problems with the 4wd on the 8800's. Other thing is the power source to the solenoid, may have a broken wire.
