    We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, and it seems like a great plan to us.

    King?  Close?  Please expand on that.

    In the history of the world, no economic system has allowed for more prosperity and freedom for the most people than capitalism.  Perfect?  Absolutely not.  Capitalism allows for most people to get out of it what they put into it.  Socialism allows for a few to get out what others put into it.

    We have a President that wishes to be King. Few can deny that.
    Did you catch his speech this morning that was supposed to announce the come back of jobs in May. Instead it was a campaign speech of about three paragraphs that he continually repeated for over a half hour. The three people behind him were waiting for "The Hook" but it never came. All other Presidential candidates should get equal time on the major networks in morning prime time.

    I wish I could say he is a joke, but he is plain dangerous.

    Some of my observations Capt are the following:  He won't take advice, he won't listen to people who know better on certain issues, (I give every lawmaker the benefit of the doubt that they can't possibly know everything, that is why, despite that I detest lobbyist, some good ones play a part in educating the lawmaker and their staff on importance of issues.)  This President looks more at what his base wants to hear, not what is right, compared to any previous President, (that's my opinion, but I sincerely believe that).  He is too easily offended by any criticism, very thin skinned, and will do anything to lash out or get back at those that do criticize, just look at Senator  Murkowski as a recent example.

    One thing I am probably most angry at President Obama about, is when he made fun of Trump at that correspondence dinner back in 2011?  The thin skin Trump was so pissed, he decided to run for President and look where we are now.  He also would dismantle everything Obama put into place, some could have been justified, like WOTUS, but others like how he handled the Pandemic with cutting staff and his slow reaction to it,  if he had taken it more seriously at the beginning, had more testing early, had people self quarantined when they came back from China and more importantly Europe (I believe that is why New York, New Jersey, and Chicago got hit hard, was all the people flying in before the ban took effect), maybe the economy wouldn't have taken such a hit as people panicked, but that is my opinion as well.

    When well respected Republicans and military advisors start  pointing it out, we need to listen.

    Capt.
    It is sad but our President has obvious mental problems. Over 19,000 lies or exaggerations. Slandering retired generals and admirals that he appointed then fired or they quit. Thus he is dangerous.

    GREETINGS;

    Corey & Mel  - you are right when you say the job report for May was in error,  It was 2.5 million PLUS a few extra thousand. 19,000 lies or exaggerations in 1,237 days as President = I think that amounts to about 1500 lies & exaggerations per day. WOW! that is some number. I think you have the wrong President with mental problems, you must be thinking of Mr. Biden the Democrat elect.

    The President has every right to fire Military Generals. Remember, he sent troops into the Middle East when requested by the military. Recall to mind what President Harry Truman said when he fired Douglas MacArthur - I fired him because he wouldn't respect the authority of the President. "That's the answer to that." I didn't fire him because he was a dumb son of a bitch, although he was, but that is not against the law for generals. ( I actually met Mr. Truman in 1945.) Something we should keep in mind is that Mr.Trump wants to get out of the Middle East. Maybe the generals don't. France, Russia & England got out of Afghanistan and now America should also get out. They have been killing each other for what hundreds, thousands of years???

    March 24, As the virus crisis has spread, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Presidential nominee Joe Biden have either been missing in action or short on solutions. They are not fit to lead, they would rather you die than the President gain a victory for the American people.

    On June 3, Actor James Woods stated - after watching rioters and looters burn and pillage through America as Democratic Politicians refrained from condemning them, and he summed up the Democrats hypocrisy in one tweet. "Democrats were literally arresting Americans for opening their business, but now are silent as protesters burn them down. You were fined for worshiping in your church, but now cheered for marching in screaming crowds."

    Personally, I hope the deplorable's come out and vote for Mr. Trump again. Mr. Biden stated a while back he will undo all the things President Trump has done.

    Make no mistake about it - Mr. Trump did a great job when America got hit with the virus.

    I don't know why I am even bothering but......I know you're not a math guy so 19,000/1237 = 15.35 lies per day.   I'm surprised it's that low.

    More math.  Deaths due to coronavirus in the USA 115,000.  South Korea 276.  Japan 916.   Wrap your head around that.  Well done Dear Leader.   What's the difference?  These countries, among others, actually were prepared and they believe in science not that it would all miraculously go away.   The pandemic response team was gutted and of course, the intelligence community cannot be believed.  It's all a hoax, right?

    GREETINGS:

    A year has gone by and no discussions on political activities.  Now we can get some what of a clear picture of what Democrats want to accomplish  & what Republicans want to accomplish.  In some above posts it is said that Mr. Trump has mental problems. Does Mr. Biden have mental problems?

    In June of 2020, it was said that capitalism isn't working all that well. That was stated because I said other countries that are going socialist are collapsing - maybe not collapsing but the majority of people are suffering. What is that word I'm thinking of. OH! Freedom, people want to be free. You see it on TV as well as I do that hundreds of millions of people have been killed in all socialists and communist countries.

    I know Mr. Trump had  a lot to do with the stock market and it continues to grow in the Biden Administration.

    What are your thoughts on the pipe line being closed and  fossil fuels going up in price. Your thoughts on money given to families that have children between certain ages and making less than $112,000 per year.

    AND, finally, how long will it take this so called country of ours to go completely socialist.

    Capt. Kirk

    Within the last couple of days the White House press secretary admitted that the administration is actively working with tech companies to censor anyone who distributes information contradictory to theirs.  That is textbook Fascism.  Why no help from the US Gov for Cubans demonstrating for Democracy?  Maybe because that would mean they would have to admit that what the Squad, Bernie, and others wants to do in the US does not work.  Why gun control?  Ask the German citizens in the 1930's.

    I try to stay out of the major issues as much as possible learning from my big mouth that others generally do not care what I think or say as their way is the only way.

    I will say that since Trump has been out things seem to be getting worse and the worst part is the fact that they are mortgaging our kids futures in order to try to appease people that are too lazy to work for the American Dream. Our schools are being taken over by Marxist thinking parties who only want to push racism. A lot of People have stopped teaching their children how to be patriotic and grateful for the chances this great country allows them to get ahead.
    I do not look forwards to retirement days if this continues I may have to work until I'm the Captains age!

    Mr. Smith;

    No matter what the post, you have always been sincere in your posts and also extremely knowledgeable. Now, I cannot think of your nick - name. Like Max - "Mad - Max" - Tracy - Like "Peaches". It may take me a couple of days but I will remember it.

    I am still working 20 hours per week in the clubhouse. No matter how many hours I work or put in my time, I only get paid 20 hours per week. No big secret, I only make $17.33 per hour. Remember, I am retired as is my lovely wife AND, WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY STIMULUS MIONEY. And, we are great grandparents. And, I have to pay Uncle Sam $760.00 per quarter. It's nice to make more money when you are retired than when you were working.

    I am in the middle of getting three IMPLANTS - no dental insurance and the cost about 15 K plus.

    You may be right and you will still be working when you get my age. Welcome to the Golden Ages.

    Capt. Kirk
